There are more notes on this post than there are snow leopards left in the wild.
Think about that for a moment.
This post have over 13,700 notes when I got to it. There are less than 8,000 snow leopards left in the wild. Let’s say about 10,000 individuals liked, reblogged, or both liked and reblogged this post. If each of them gave a dollar toward snow leopard conservation, that’d be $10,000.
I know not everyone can afford to give, and hell, not everyone *wants* to. But if you like this photo of this snow leopard, and you have a few dollars to spare, would you consider tossing them to a group like the Snow Leopard Trust, the Snow Leopard Conservancy or Panthera? If so, please consider doing a donation instead of buying something from the gift shop, since the organizations still have to pay for the items initially.
And even if you can’t give anything, can you pass these organizations on to others who might be able to donate?
